I began my Chiropractic care after learning about the overall health benefits associated with the care program.  My initial thoughts regarding chiropractic care were based on recovery from car accidents or back pain.  I was amazed to find out how much chiropractic care and can help your overall health and well-being.
My progress has been wonderful.  I have felt healthier since starting my program and I can really tell that my overall health has improved.  I have also seen progress with my follow-up x-rays and reports.
Life Source has also given me many side benefits, beyond the normal chiropractic care.  I really value the health discussions held at the office and the amount of information available to me at the office.  Dr. Wiese’s willingness to offer information and insight to leading and living a healthy lifestyle has also been a great benefit.

I first came to Life Source Chiropractic to a cancer workshop with my mom.  I decided to do a free evaluation and found out that I had severe subluxation in my back and neck.   Before receiving chiropractic care I would have constant headaches everyday. I also had really bad allergies.  The allergies would make it hard for me to breathe at work for at least the first half of my day.  I had never been to a chiropractor before so I didn’t really know much about it.  Now after receiving care I rarely have a headache and my allergies are mostly gone.  I really enjoy coming into the office.  Everyone knows my name and they are very friendly and welcoming.

I was first introduced to Life Source Chiropractic at the home show in Omaha.  I had some chiropractic care in the past, and went just a couple times but didn’t know much about it. I started out coming to Life Source Chiropractic with a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders, and also had recently passed kidney stones.  When I would lift weights it would pull on my neck.  I work at a computer desk all day and I carry all my stress in my back.  In the past, I tried using heating pads or ice to help the pain, but it didn’t help as much as the care I get here.
Coming in and seeing how bad of shape my neck and spine was in, listening to Dr. Jason and hearing what he could do with promoting health in my body, and after having kidney stones it was very important to me to be healthy again. I didn’t want to go through something like that again. Starting out with three visits a week, I’m down to two now and I miss coming in three times. Thus far, a lot of the pain is gone, I feel like I have better movement in my neck and shoulders. My blood pressure has gone down and I feel healthier.  I really enjoy coming in to the office. Everyone is very nice and very helpful. Everyone is like family here at the office.

I had a lot of lower back pain and neck pain.  The pain was so bad it was difficult to sleep.  I constantly felt congested and in pain all the time.  I took Advil everyday and kept increasing the amount with no full relief of the pain.  I met Dr. Wiese at the Omaha Home Show and was very open to chiropractic.  I especially like getting in and out of the office quickly.  In the short time I’ve been coming, I’ve noticed that I breathe a lot better and sleep longer. Before receiving care at Life Source Chiropractic I originally had neck pain and bad headaches. I was cracking my neck on my own at least once an hour at work. It really started affecting my day…I was in a constant state of pain the whole day at my computer.  I was so happy to go home by the end of each day because I was hurting all the time. I don’t really like to take medication so I just dealt with the pain and thought this was how it was going to be.

Hello, my name is Cyndy and I’ve been coming to Life Source Chiropractic for 6 months now.  I met Dr. Wiese and the girls at the Bridal Fair and decided to come in and get checked out.  I was having a lot of numbness and pain in my neck and carpal tunnel.  Self adjusting and massages weren’t working anymore.  I was in a car accident some time ago and ever since then if I hold my head looking to the side for any period of time, I get pretty bad headaches. 
I had been to a chiropractor before in Kansas City but he has since retired.  So, I was well aware of the benefits.  I was seeing a chiropractor about once a month closer to where I live, but he just isn’t as gentle as Dr. Wiese.  I love getting adjusted here and it never hurts. 
Since starting my care here at Life Source Chiropractic, the pain and numbness has disappeared.  Occasionally I’ll still get a mild headache but that’s about it. The stiffness and soreness that I used to get in my mid-back from work is no longer there.  My hip no longer goes out and my carpal tunnel is about ½ of what it was before. 
I’ve also noticed that I have more energy and I’m sleeping a lot better.  I’ve also stopped taking meds for my racing heart, a condition that I’ve been on since I was 20 years old.  I love the exercises we do and they certainly help a lot.  The girls are so friendly and Dr. Wiese is very gentle.  I just love coming here!

My name is Dan and I’ve had a lot of back pain in my past.  It was just uncomfortable for me a lot of times.  Whether I would be at home or at work, I couldn’t do anything for more than ten minutes without having to adjust my position because of some back pain.  I couldn’t sit or stand in one place for very long. 
I never really tried anything for myI’ve never been to a chiropractor so I didn’t know too much about it.  But, since starting care here at Life Source Chiropractic, I’ve noticed a huge difference.  I can now sit and play computer games for hours if I wanted to with no problem.  At work, I can now focus on work rather than my back pain and standing all day.  I’ve also noticed that I no longer have headaches and I’m not nearly as sick this year as I have been in the past.

Some time ago I had done some damage to my hip which caused pain in my leg.  By limping and taking Ibuprofen (like candy) I was only doing further damage.  It was a chore to even walk and I had a very hard time staying asleep.  I was living in darkness and didn’t believe chiropractic could do anything for me.  I went to the ‘Body By God’ seminar and decided to give it a chance.  I was very shocked to see my X-Ray after Dr. Wiese explained to me what was going on.  After the first few adjustments I saw a huge difference in my leg and hip.  I went from ‘major pain’ to just ‘mild inconvenience’ in only 3 months and it’s still getting better.  I feel 1,000% better than before and sleep the whole night.  I also noticed that I haven’t had to take allergy medications at all this season, whereas I used to take them a LOT.  Dr. Wiese has influenced me to eat the right foods and make better choices in my life which also has a huge impact on my care.  Dr. Wiese is a wonderful person.  He didn’t have to help me, but he did…he wanted to.  He truly cares.

Hello, my name is Evan.  I started chiropractic care about 2 months ago because for about a year and a half, I was getting really bad headaches just about every day.  They were so bad I didn’t want to do anything.  I sometimes wanted to just sleep to make them go away.  A couple of times they would make me pass out.  All this and I’m only 18 years old.
I was seeing a neurologist for a while and I was also on some prescription medications, but nothing, obviously, was helping.  I never really knew too much about chiropractic before coming here so I didn’t know what to expect.  Since starting care here at Life Source Chiropractic, I’ve only had about 2 headaches or so at the most.  The best part is, they’re not nearly as bad, AND I don’t pass out. I’ve noticed that I have more energy as well, which is important since I’m getting ready to be a senior in high school and I play football.  Now I’m just glad my headaches are GONE.

Hello, my name is Alisha, and I had been a patient here at Life Source Chiropractic for a few months before deciding to get my daughter, Gabrielle, under care.  Prior to receiving care here she had constipation issues pretty much her whole life.  It had gotten so bad to the point that she started having seizures in the spring.  There would be times where she would go a week without a single bowel movement.  She wasn’t able to eat properly and I could tell that it was taking a mental toll on her as well…and she’s seven years old. 
We had tried prescription drugs that seemed to work a little bit, but only for a couple of months…3-4 at the most.  We had even been to gastro-intestinal specialist but nothing seemed to help.  I brought her in to Dr. Jason to see if she had any subluxation and sure enough she did.  After a while of being under care here, Gabrielle is very ‘regular’.  She’s doing so much better.  She is more of a ‘kid’ now and is so full of energy.  She’s also doing better in school.  I’m so happy that she’s seen the progress that she has. This is really a great office.  Dr. Jason is very knowledgeable and Gabrielle enjoys coming here and visiting Dr. Jason, Andrea and Cara.

While pregnant with my first two kids I had a lot of lower back problems and back pain, numbness and tingling in my hands and I was put on bed-rest.  I didn’t really have a lot of energy afterward and didn’t really have a lot of emotion…just mostly like my body was in ‘shock’ for a while.   Whereas with Mallory, my most recent baby, I felt like I had more energy during the pregnancy, and I didn’t have to be on bed-rest.  Undergoing chiropractic care while pregnant, I felt, was really a blessing and helped with the pregnancy all around.  The delivery felt like a piece of cake.  Dr. Wiese encouraged me to try to have a natural birth and after his screening of “The Business of Being Born” video, I felt so convicted.  I knew that THAT was what I wanted to experience.  We did the Bradley classes and I tried to prepare myself better this time around and the birth was just a wonderful and beautiful experience all around.  I attribute that to my body being in alignment and healthy and ready to deliver naturally.  Had I not been under care and learned everything that I have here at Life Source Chiropractic, I would have had an epidural…hands down. 
The recovery was so much better and faster as well after this baby.  Within a few hours I was showered and in the room.  I just felt energized.  It was just pure joy, I had such a ‘high’ I couldn’t sleep for about 48 hours. I would recommend to expectant mothers to just keep coming in and making sure you’re spine is properly aligned and to maintain a healthy lifestyle.  I definitely encourage chiropractic care while pregnant.

“I always thought chiropractic was just for people in pain… I didn’t think it would make so many changes in my life”

My name is Jenny and I started chiropractic simply because my sister-in-law said I should come in and check it out.  I always thought chiropractic was just for people in pain; I wasn’t in pain.  I didn’t think it would make so many changes in my life.  After seeing my X-rays, I knew my back was ‘messed up’.  Since starting my care 3 months ago, I’ve noticed HUGE changes. My digestive system is a lot better.  I would go 3+ days without going to the bathroom.  I tried eating prunes and all kinds of stuff, but it only worked when I was doing that.  If I stopped eating prunes, I stopped going.  Now, I go everyday.    
I, also had a condition in my hands called ‘hyper-hydrosis’ meaning that my hands would sweat a lot.  It was embarrassing to shake peoples’ hands because mine would be dripping.  I had the option of having surgery, but there are risks, like any surgery, of pinching a nerve in my hands.  So they gave me a lotion that I used which completely dried my hands out.  This also made it embarrassing.  My hands were too DRY and scaly that people wouldn’t want to touch them.  Now, my hyper-hydrosis isn’t NEARLY as bad.  In fact my hands are only just a little moist at the worst. 
My blood pressure has come down a bit too.  I was in a car accident and when the EMT’s took my blood pressure, it was fine…in a very stressful situation.  They were shocked…and so was I.  Not to mention that because I was already under care here at Life Source Chiropractic, my pain wasn’t bad, and the recovery was very quick.
My menstrual cramps aren’t unbearable either.  Before, I was using a heating pad and taking Midol, but the pain was so bad that I was missing work occasionally, and that’s wasn’t too good.  But now, just some hot tea and maybe a hot water bottle and I’m ok.  It’s SO nice to actually be able to sleep through the night!
My allergies used to be so bad that I couldn’t even see straight.  There would be minutes of constant sneezing followed by congestion, watery eyes, and headaches.  I love baseball, and it was so hard to go to the games because I was constantly sneezing.  I took Benadryl which SEEMED to work for a moment, but I couldn’t do anything because it made me so sleepy. This year, however, the pollen count is the highest it’s been in a few years, and I’m fine.  I got sick once and it was only for about 2 days, and very mild.  There are many benefits in chiropractic, especially here at Life Source.  Everybody is so nice in the office and I love coming here.

I started my chiropractic care to help my back pain. I also had a lot of pain in my left shoulder. I had a lot of numbness and tingling in my shoulder and it bothered me all the time. I dealt with the pain but it wasn’t easy.  There was a time when I went to a chiropractor who used a spring loaded device that made a lot of popping noise. I saw a little result from this but I only went when it hurt. I meet Dr. Wiese at the Home Show and that’s when I decided to look into better care for my back and shoulder. I heard about Life Source Chiropractic through the Omaha Home Show.  Before learning about Life Source Chiropractic I had heard that chiropractors didn’t really fix any of the problems and that it wasn’t true medicine. 
Before beginning chiropractic care at Life Source Chiropractic I had a pinched nerve that caused pain to shoot down my arm and I had pain in my back. I was also having frequent headaches. I wasn’t productive because I didn’t feel good.  I was always tired and worn out. Doing any lifting or monotonous work was difficult. My headaches created tiredness so I rested a lot and didn’t get much done. I was getting injections in my neck for the pain. It would help for a couple of days but it always came back. It didn’t fix the problem. I was taking a lot of Ibuprofen for my headaches.
Now, after receiving chiropractic care, my neck doesn’t hurt as much. I don’t have the pulsing pain down my arm. I’ve fewer headaches and haven’t had to take as much Ibuprofen.  I was also having indigestion and acid reflux.  I noticed later that the adjustments were helping with that too.
I think the educational opportunities they have at the office are wonderful. They are always promoting good health and are very friendly. I like how quick the adjustments are. It’s very convenient.

Hi, my name is Kira and I’m 15 years old.  My mom and I decided to begin chiropractic care because I was constantly getting headaches and still getting ear infections.  It was so bad sometimes I couldn’t hear and it would be hard to stand up straight.  I couldn’t focus at school and my headaches would get really bad.
I used ear drops and Advil quite often.  It seemed to work…or so I thought.  It made the pain go away for a little bit, but the ear infections and head aches always came back.  The medications were just treating the symptoms and not the cause. 
I have never had any previous experience with chiropractic before, so as you can imagine, I was very nervous.  But now, I realize there was nothing to be nervous about.  The adjustments are nice and don’t hurt at all.

I heard about Life Source Chiropractic through the Body by God 40 Day Challenge.  I decided to start coming for chiropractic care because of my lower back pain and shoulder pain.  I also like the idea of being able to get off my medications.  I do a lot of lifting in my daily routine.  It was difficult to do yard work and my shoulders would start tingling at times.
Before hearing about Life Source Chiropractic, I wasn’t sure chiropractic care would help, and I didn’t know much about it.  I had some physical therapy done for the pain and I would take Ibuprofen but it didn’t help very much. I was also taking anti depressants and because of that they put me on more medications to take care of the side effects.
After receiving care from Dr. Wiese I was able to cut back on medications. I was taking four different medications and now I’m down to one. Also my lower back pain has improved.  I used to have to ask the other adults in the classroom to pick up the children, but now I can pick them up myself.  I can stand longer in church too.  I’ve been getting great care at the Life Source Chiropractic office and the people there are always friendly and helpful.

My name is Lucie and I am 14 months old.  Before beginning chiropractic care, I had chronic ear infections.  I was on a never ending cycle of multiple medications which caused “side effects” like yeast infections and fevers, which meant more medication. 
My mommy and daddy could tell that I was in agony from the constant pain, and decided to bring me to my daddy’s chiropractor, Dr. Wiese (Dr. Jason to me).  Since then, life has been great.  It’s been five months, and no more ear infections.  I haven’t even been sick at all.  My mommy and daddy have also seen great results.  We’re much happier now, and I don’t have to take anymore medication.

“I used to feel uncomfortable in my own skin… Now, I feel stronger, healthier and more comfortable with my body”

My name is Martha and for over 30 years I have suffered from anxiety/panic disorder and depression.  I took medications to mask my many symptoms because of a misdiagnosis and still suffered …so did my family.  The medications I was taking caused me to have SEVERE constipation which also caused me to develop hemorrhoids.  I was told to drink mass quantities of water and just sit on the toilet for a while.  You cannot drink enough water when it’s that bad.  I was on two over the counter drugs just to help me TRY to go…one of which I could only find at Offutt.  It was very hard to explain to my family that I just couldn’t go – especially after being in the restroom for long periods of time.  I also had Irritable Bowel Syndrome but couldn’t ‘go’…so I was just told to watch my diet.  I initially was told that there was damage done from giving birth to my daughter.  After several years, the Dr. finally told me that it was my medications causing it. I constantly felt lethargic and groggy. I used to feel ‘uncomfortable’ in my own skin.  I knew the medications were slowing everything down in my body and were also messing up my digestive system.  My ultimate goal was to just be off all of these medications.
Before coming in to Life Source Chiropractic, I thought that chiropractic was for people who hurt their backs like from a car accident or something.  So, in that case, I thought I was okay and my back was fine.  At the Doctor’s Report, everything Dr. Wiese said made sense as to why I have slowly, but progressively gotten worse over time because I had subluxation…or a misalignment in my spine.  I needed to get to the source of the problem.  After he was done explaining everything I thought – FINALLY….SOMEBODY is paying attention to what’s going on.  My body needs to function better. 
After only TEN adjustments I feel an improvement in my stress level.  I haven’t had any of the horrible depressive days and I can drive on the highway “anxiety free”…Praise God!!!  I also had the first NORMAL bowel movement since the year 2000 and that’s no exaggeration.  My husband and I were at the store the other day, and when I got out of the car I had this feeling of just being more “sure” of myself.  Now, I feel stronger, healthier and more comfortable with my body.  My husband and I really enjoy and look forward to coming to the office.  It’s such a friendly, pleasant “non-medical” environment.  Everybody’s smiling and they truly care…you can feel it.

My name is Mary and I meet Dr. Wiese at the Home Show. I made the decision to come in for an exam and learned a lot about my body.  I had never had any previous experience with chiropractic care, and never thought I needed to because I was never in pain. I am now more informed about chiropractic care and my body and have seen the advantages. My attitude is now a lot different about chiropractic care. I understand that it is important to take care of your body for a lifetime and not just when you are in pain. Throughout my care I have also seen changes in my shoulders and back including pain that I have been experiencing since I was a teen. I have an overall better wellbeing. What I enjoy the most about the office is all of the information. You receive a broad spectrum of information here, and not just stuff about your back.

Our entire family is receiving chiropractic care as the next best step in our quest for health. None of us has had any major issue, but after seeing the results from our evaluations we decided we had some things to work on. In the beginning we thought chiropractic was just an alternative approach to medicine that may or may not work, and we didn’t think it was for us. Now we are seeing great results and believe it is for everyone. My back no longer aches when sitting for longer period of time. Both of our girls had some issues, and have seen improvement. Our oldest has headaches less often and our youngest no longer struggles with constipation. All of us are standing taller!

We all love Dr. Jason! Our four year old daughter once said, “My bones love it when you do that!” after an adjustment. Our two year old can spot Super Man anywhere!

My name is Patrick and I’ve been a patient here at Life Source Chiropractic for a few months now. Prior to coming to this office, I had several problems with my digestive system because I had tumors in my small intestine.  It got to the point where I had already had two surgeries.  Because of the surgeries, I was unable to work for a while and when I finally went back to work, I was favoring the side that I had the surgery on…causing my muscles to build up in my back on one side.  That ended up shifting my spine, so I went to physical therapy and did the exact same thing but on the opposite side. 
All of this ended up causing me to have some severe issues with my bowels. Two laxatives and four stool softeners each day and changing to almost a vegetarian diet with high fiber was not my idea of living. I also needed to have a lot of citrus in my diet, which was causing some heartburn.  My first surgery caused me to have some hernias so six months after that, I was back in the O.R. for another surgery to fix this problem which had me practically on bed-rest for about 3 months.  My first baby was born 10 days after I had my last surgery.  The pain was so bad that I couldn’t even get up out of a chair let alone pick up my own daughter or even carry the diaper bag for that matter.  I was on painkillers and had to get a La-Z-boy recliner in order to just be comfortable.  Everything else caused more pain.  It was just an ongoing amount of problems that just stemmed from the first surgery that I had.  I just wanted to get to the source of the problem. 
My wife talked to me about coming in and getting checked out, so I did.  I originally joined my wife for the Doctor’s Report just to find out what was going on with her.  The girls in the office stressed the importance of me being there with my wife for this and I could see why.  When he started linking everything in the body to the nervous system and how if your spine is misaligned, it damages that nerve system…it hit me.  This is it.  I think I want to get checked out while I’m here.  So I did, and sure enough, I had subluxation!
I had been to a chiropractor before and that just didn’t seem to work out.  I never received the physical adjustments like I do from Dr. Wiese.  All of the stool softeners and laxatives that I was taking, I haven’t taken since three weeks after I started here.  All the foods that I stopped eating and was told that I wouldn’t be able to eat again, I now eat with no problem.  I love steak…and now I can enjoy it without worrying about how I’m going to feel later on.  Certain movements at work that used to irritate my stomach, back etc. just don’t anymore.  I love this and I’m so glad I have my life back.  I can’t wait for summer so I can start playing golf again.”

My name is Peggy and I started chiropractic care because I was having severe lower back pain.  I had been to a chiropractor before but didn’t have any relief.  At its worst, I would get a very interrupted 4 – 5 hours of sleep at the most.  When sitting down I had to put my hand behind my back just to relieve some of the pain.  I couldn’t stand in one position for very long without being in constant pain.  I took muscle relaxers, pain killers, and about 6 Ibuprofen per day…everyday.  But the pain just wouldn’t go away.  I even did physical therapy, and that seemed to help for a little while, but it never really went away.  Plus I had to be careful not to lift anything.

My name is Rex, and I heard about Life Source Chiropractic through the Hy-Vee dietician when she promoted the Body By God, 40-day challenge given by Dr. Wiese.  Our primary decision for coming into the office was that my wife and I wanted to be healthy.  We figured if we wanted to play with our grandchildren, we needed to be serious about our health. 
I have two nephews that are chiropractors in western Nebraska, so I was aware of some of the benefits.  But after coming to this office, I’ve learned so much.  I’ve only been coming here about a month or so, and I’ve completely thrown away my two blood-pressure medications, AND my THREE diabetes medications, and I feel great.  I’m slowly getting myself off of my blood thinners.

Hello, my name is Rick and I’ve been a patient here at Life Source Chiropractic for about 3 months.  I originally came in to see Dr. Wiese about some lower back pain I was having and to improve my overall health. 
My back pain was terrible.  There were times where I couldn’t even move…literally.  I was put on bed rest.  I was also taking muscle relaxers and pain killers quite a bit.  It seemed to help but not for very long.  More like a quick fix.  I was seeing a chiropractor in Missouri for a while.  But not nearly as often.  I only really went in there if my back was really bad.  Even then, my pain didn’t ‘go away’.
I also had really bad sinus infections.  Those got so bad that it hurt my teeth.  I even went to the dentist because it felt like I had the worst tooth ache of my life.  Turns out, it was just another sinus infection.  One infection got so bad it kept me up all night.  As soon as I would fall asleep…the pain would shoot up again.  I took a lot of antibiotics for my sinus infections as well.  Several times throughout the year, I would take quite a few. 
Since starting care here at Life Source Chiropractic, I’ve noticed a huge difference.  I haven’t had even ONE sinus infection.  Not ONE!!!  It’s so nice!  My back pain isn’t as bad either.  I’ve also noticed a huge difference on my X-rays.  My spine is a lot straighter and my neck is positioned better in just a couple of months.

I met Andrea and Cara at the Council Bluffs Home Show, where they scanned my wife and I.  We talked to them for a while about the chiropractic care. I have been on the highest dosage for blood pressure medication and have had pain in my hips for quite a while. My wife and I like to go to the YMCA and walk, and I couldn’t do that because of the pain in my hips.  My neck also used to crack and cause discomfort.
We started receiving care here at Life Source Chiropractic and not long after I started noticing I had less pain in my hips, my neck doesn’t bother me, and just recently I stopped taking my blood pressure medication. My blood pressure is really good now and I feel great.  I’ve been able to walk now without pain.

My name is Tarie and I started coming to Life Source Chiropractic about 3 months ago.  I was having a lot of shoulder and neck pain.  Not to mention I had headaches on a daily basis.  My headaches made me feel just miserable.  I practically lived on Ibuprofen and/or Aleve and took naps a lot.  At work and throughout the day, I would just do the bare minimum that I needed to do.  I had very little energy.

My name is Tim Quist.  I was introduced to Life Source Chiropractic at a health fair they had at my place of work.  When I first started care at Life Source Chiropractic I had neck pain and stiffness, poor range of motion in my neck, pain in my lower back, numbness in my right thumb, and numbness in my left thigh.  I knew I needed to get help when it became hard to turn my neck while I was driving. I saw a chiropractor before, but didn’t think much of them. It seemed more like a “temporary band aid.” They scanned my neck at the health fair and I had a lot of red (severe damage to my nerve system).  Now that I’ve been receiving care for a couple of months I have more movement in my neck, the numbness in my thumb has subsided, and my blood platelet levels are lower.

My name is Wendy and I started my chiropractic care because of Hemorrhoids.  I have had them since I was 14 years old and they have gotten worse and worse and worse.
